Usual questions

How does the system work?

The system in its main part consists of solar modules . They directly transform the sun energy into direct current , which with the help of inverter is transformed into altered current . In the inverters are set systems for frequency monitoring which helps for the equalization between the altered current of the on-grid system and this of the solar modules so that the energy to be transmitted to the on-grid system .

Of course this process is on only when the sun is shining / at day time / and under the right conditions – no clouds , no snow over the modules or any shadow falling over them thrown by neighboring buildings or natural characteristics / a hill /.

At night time the consumption is from the on-grid system as usual . In the end each month the electronic current meter set in the electric board reads the produced and the consumed from you energy and when the energy you have produced is more you receive your money back . Just for example – if 1 k Watt hour at the moment costs 0,15 BGN your own produced energy will be paid at about 0,718 BGN so you only have to hope for more sunny days .
This example is accurate only when you are connected with the on-grid system .

Of course there is another case – using the sun energy without depending on the monopolists , waiting for licenses and signing contracts . This is the so called self-dependent system .

By the self-dependent system the modules are connected with a charging controller , who charges an accumulating battery in case you need feeding with direct current , if you don’t need direct current the inverter turns it again into altered current . This system is used for low power consumptions – energy saving lamps from 5 to 21 Watts , radio and TV sets / e.g. one color , 29 inches TV set consumes around 100 Watts , water pumps in fountains up to 100 Watts , PVC blinds engines and others / .
The self-depending system is suitable for places out of the range of the on-grid system – mountain and sea regions out of the urban zone .
